A group of organisations dedicated to the promotion and defence of Catalan have come together to ensure the presence of the Catalan language in the digital environment.The initiative, coordinated by Accent Obert, is a clear example of how we work: through networking and collaboration, building alliances among the sector’s key players.

We have joined forces to dedicate technical resources, knowledge, and mobilisation capacity to promote the Catalan language in the digital environment. What drove the organisations to come together was the recognition of a significant decline in the visibility and positioning of Catalan in internet search results.

The Alliance is currently composed of the following organisations: Accent Obert, Acció Cultural del País Valencià, Amical Wikimedia, Associació de SEO en català, Accent Obert, Institut d’Estudis Catalans, Institut Ramon Llull, Òmnium Cultural, Plataforma per la Llengua, Softcatalà, WICCAC.

We unite as a network to defend Catalan online and restore its visibility through shared knowledge, technology, and collective will.
